Warned 04:18
Now the sun's comin' up and he's still walking home head like a gutter and a mind like a storm Swoons and swaggers, he's known to flatter it's that certain hour when we're compatible now. But it's taken so long, it's taken so long there's no one to blame - I was Warned. When you offered me more than I ever did dream of, it's hard to be sure so I'm stumbling now I know you were Warned but, nobody can see us, so there warning signs are only written in the dust.

about

Sing, Strum & Strut is the first solo release by Melbourne based singer-songwriter Alex Watts.

Having spent much of 2013 touring Australia and the UK as a solo artist, this EP was put together to showcase the quieter moments that typify an Alex Watts solo show, a sound that differs greatly from the more expansive sonics of his currently seven-piece band the Foreign Tongue.

The four tracks were taken from sessions stretching over a period of four years, from live radio appearances to home recordings. Subtle yet far from intricate, these bare-bones recordings reveal one of Australia's best kept secrets.
